Access and Safety Regulations – Antonio Servadei Agricultural Enterprise

(Administrative Delegation of 04/12/2007)

The Antonio Servadei Agricultural Enterprise has adopted internal workplace safety regulations, in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008. These regulations must be respected by anyone entering the enterprise premises.

This document outlines in greater detail the code of conduct expected from all visitors and individuals present for educational or experimental purposes, with the aim of ensuring their safety and that of the regular staff.

Specifically, visitors and external personnel are required to:

  • Respect the internal speed limit of 40 km/h, bearing in mind that this is an agricultural area where agricultural vehicles may be in operation.

  • Park vehicles (cars, motorcycles, etc.) only in designated parking areas. Parking on cultivated land is strictly prohibited.

  • Avoid entering marked areas identified as specific risk zones, which are off-limits to non-authorized or occasional visitors. Access and activities in these areas must be previously arranged with the management and relevant supervisors.

  • Refrain from using company or experimental equipment and machinery unless previously authorized or explicitly included in approved experimental activities. Only individuals listed in the experiment request form signed by the responsible professor/researcher may carry out such activities.

  • All individuals involved in on-site activities (e.g., researchers, thesis students, scholarship holders, PhD candidates, trainees) must be properly trained and informed by their designated supervisor regarding safety and protection measures.

  • In case of emergency, there are emergency stations located at the gatehouse and at “Rustici” buildings, as well as two designated assembly points.

  • Each sector supervisor is responsible for monitoring staff and controlling third-party access within their respective areas.

  • It is strictly forbidden to bring in reagents, chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers, or veterinary medical products without prior notice to the enterprise’s appointed supervisor.

  • Access to the pesticide storage area and related treatment operations is not permitted for visitors, unless specifically authorized by the management and under the supervision of the sector supervisor.

  • Experimental activities are not permitted outside regular operating hours unless expressly authorized in advance.

  • To ensure safe working conditions, it is recommended to avoid solitary work in greenhouses, stables, or during fieldwork involving students, thesis candidates, or researchers.

  • Driving or operating agricultural machinery is strictly prohibited for unauthorized personnel or those without the required qualifications.

  • At the end of any experimental activity, it is mandatory to restore the area to its original condition, maintaining proper order, cleanliness, and hygiene.

The enterprise assumes no responsibility for individuals who act improperly or access the premises without proper authorization.
