The University farm “A. Servadei” has the following main aims:

  • To provide research and experimentation services in agriculture and animal husbandry, in line with the University Statute;

  • To connect agricultural and zootechnical research with the innovation needs of businesses;

  • To disseminate knowledge in the sector and support the creation of new, innovative enterprises;

  • To promote an agricultural model based on multifunctionality and biodiversity, fostering closer ties between people and rural life.

The University of Udine prioritizes support for teaching and research, but the University farm Servadei is also actively engaged in local development. For this reason, it is strengthening partnerships with businesses, institutions, and educational organizations.

In recent years, the farm has expanded its role: from a simple research and experimentation facility, it has become a key player in innovation, collaborating with public and private entities, also at the international level, to attract resources and develop projects.
