Project goals: The 2025-26 trials aims to evaluate the effect of different sowing times (from March to July) on the main morphological characteristics and on the quantitative-qualitative seed production of three different monoecious hemp varieties.
Duration: March-November 2026
Activities: A field plot trials was carried out utilizing a strip-plot experimental design with three replications, with two factors: A, sowing times and B, varieties. In particular, plant height, the duration of the emergence-flowering and flowering-maturity periods and the influence of the main climatic conditions (temperature) during the grain-filling phase on production and the main seed characteristics (oil content, unit and specific weight, etc.) will be evaluated.
