Objectives of the Experimentation:

The primary objective of the project is to determine the salinity concentrations suitable for the survival of M. quadrifolia. In addition, the project aims to measure the physiological changes occurring in the plant under progressively increasing salt stress conditions, in order to identify any physiological mechanisms responsible for mitigating salt stress.

From 27 July 2026 to 4 September 2026.

Activities Carried Out at the "A. Servadei" Experimental Farm

The activities conducted at the farm will consist of implementing the experiment itself. This will involve setting up containers with different salt concentrations, in which pots containing the plants will be placed. The plants will be grown for approximately 40 days, during which they will be periodically irrigated by the operator. At the end of the 40-day period, sampling will consist of collecting all plants, which will then be transported to the laboratory for the required analyses.
