The Centre for Research and Technological Innovation in Agriculture (C.R.I.T.A.)

The Centre for Research and Technological Innovation in Agriculture (C.R.I.T.A.) was founded in 2004 by Regional Government (Regional Law nr. 11/2003, art. 10) at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Udine. Subsequently, the University established the Centre at the University Departments and the Azienda Agraria Universitaria (University farm) “A. Servadei”. The following priority activities will be started:
  1. the setting up and updating of a complete archive regarding research in the fields of agriculture and agribusiness;
  2. the coordination of actors that, at regional level, carry out pure research, applied research, experimentation, innovation and innovation transfer in agriculture and agribusinness;
  3. the orientation of research and innovation;
  4. the transfer of knowledge to production;
  5. education and professional training;
  6. the planning and carrying out of research projects aimed at acquiring knowledge for new products, production processes and services, especially as concerns action stated in art. 7 of Regional Law n. 11/2003.
